DML Morning Briefing: Oct 30
Today is October 30 and I am Dennis Michael Lynch.
1. Trump campaign calls on Biden to reveal what he knows about FBI probe into Hunter
According to the Washington Times, President Trump’s campaign officials called on Democrat Joseph R. Biden Thursday night to disclose whether he was aware that his son Hunter reportedly has been under investigation by the FBI since last year in a money-laundering probe.
“It is not believable that Joe Biden was unaware that his son was under FBI investigation since last year,” said Trump campaign communications director Tim Murtaugh. “Joe Biden must answer these questions.”
Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, told James Rosen of Sinclair Broadcasting on Thursday that he was questioned by six FBI agents with counsel present for five hours on Oct. 23. Mr. Bobulinski said the FBI was listing him as a “material witness” in an ongoing investigation focused on Hunter Biden and his associates, and that his three cellphones were examined.
DML: America deserves answers, NOW. On a side note, I will be interviewing former FBI agent Cesar Paz Friday on The Dennis Michael Lynch Podcast with hopes of learning more about how the agency handles such an investigation when the players are politically powerful. Listen by downloading the DML News App from the Google Play Store for Androids and the Apple App Store for iPhones.
2-Terror attack in France rocks region
French officials were on high alert Thursday after a knife-wielding assailant shouting “Allahu akbar” killed three churchgoers in the Mediterranean city of Nice, fueling an already bitter national debate about free speech, terrorism and the place of Islam in a fiercely secular democracy.
The attack, which took place inside Nice’s Notre-Dame Basilica, was the third in two months tied to suspected Islamist terrorists. A provincial high school teacher was beheaded earlier this month after showing his class caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.
President Emmanuel Macron said Islam must be “reformed” in France.
DML: Reformed? How about eliminated instead. You can not have peace with religious radicals who follow a book as evil as the Koran. Look at what Islam has done to the US. Ever since we opened the flood gates to Muslims coming to the US, the crimes against Jews have increased. This is not by chance or coincidence.
3-Celebrities rip California’s Gov. Newsom over coronavirus Thanksgiving rules
Celebrities have taken to Twitter to criticize newly revised guidelines unveiled by California Gov. Gavin Newsom and the state’s Department of Public Health earlier this month that ban indoor gatherings in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The guidelines, announced ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, define gatherings as “social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space or place.”
The order requires the host of any private gathering to limit attendance to no more than three households and the duration to no more than two hours. Hosts should ensure guests gather only outdoors and promote physical distancing, frequent hand-washing or sanitizing and the use of masks or face coverings.
In addition, singing, chanting, and shouting are strongly discouraged and should be avoided.
In an Oct. 17 tweet, actor Rob Schneider joked, “Dear Emperor@GavinNewsom, During our allotted 3 family limit this Thanksgiving, if my Aunt comes over, can I throw her a slice of turkey from the window? We promise NOT to sing… we will all just whisper. ‘PLEASE RECALL DIPS— GAVIN NEWSON!’”
“Full Metal Jacket” actor Adam Baldwin was equally displeased with the restrictions, deeming them “Ridiculously unenforceable” in a tweet that has since been removed, while former game show host Chuck Woolery said Newsom has gone “bonkers” issuing the order.
DML: Does Gavin want people to wear a mask when going to the toilet to relieve themselves of extra stuffing? Gavin Newsom can shove his rules up his buttock, no pun intended. I hope every person in CA posts photos of huge celebrations in defiance. The way to end this idiocy is by resisting the rules and mandates that are moronic, and this is one of them.
4-CNN’s Don Lemon compares Trump supporters to drug addicts: ‘They have to hit rock bottom’ to get help
Watch the videos:
DML: Lets remember, Don Lemon has a job simply because he is a radical black man who is gay. He checks a lot of boxes that stand out for the HR department heads at CNN. As for Fredo, I’m guessing his lack of integrity is the only attribute CNN cared about when hiring him; it seems like one can only get a job at CNN if you are willing to lie.
5-Keith Ellison Wields Power to Restrict Freedom of Assembly of Political Opponents at Minnesota Trump Rally
The venue for President Donald Trump’s political rally in Minnesota scheduled for Friday will be restricted to only 250 people after Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison put pressure on the business owners of multiple locations.
The rally was initially planned at the Rochester airport, but Ellison’s office demanded a “COVID preparedness plan” from officials from the City of Rochester, Olmsted County, and the Rochester airport, as well as the Republican National Committee to ensure the event was safe.
The event was then moved to Dodge Center, prompting Ellison’s office to ask the Trump campaign and the owner of the building McNeilus Steel for their “COVID Preparedness Plan.”
That prompted the Trump campaign to move the event again, back to the airport.
“Thanks to the free speech-stifling dictates of Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, only the first 250 people will be admitted,” the campaign said in a statement sent late Thursday night.
DML: The black Muslim man known as Ellison should be undermined by Trump. Allow all 6,000 people in and see how the cops react. I say they do nothing in a sign of defiance, but equally a sign of support for Trump.
6-Town says Black Lives Matter signs to remain at polling site
The North Carolina State Board of Elections ordered the town of Carrboro to remove Black Lives Matter signs from its voting site after receiving complaints, but the town says the signs will stay put.
Carrboro is a small town west of Chapel Hill that is known for its progressive stances.
In a letter to Carrboro officials, elections board executive director Karen Brinson Bell said there were several complaints about the signs from voters.
Bell says the flags could be interpreted as an official endorsement by the board of elections in favor of a particular movement. But officials have rebuffed Bell’s order.
DML: I will speak to former New York Yankess pitcher and huge Trump supporter Tanyon Sturtze today on The Dennis Michael Lynch Podcast. Part of our discussion will be about the negative impact of Black Lives Matter on sports.
